It might not be what you want at first.
Using that creative eye to change a product, service or company into something spectacular. It might not be what you want at first but you have to look again and know you can change it. Don't omit things because of how they first look.
Psalm 115:14 KJV the Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children.
30 I went by the field of the slothful, and by the vineyard of the man void of understanding;
31 And, lo, it was all grown over with thorns, and nettles had covered the face thereof, and the stone wall thereof was broken down.
32 Then I saw, and considered it well: I looked upon it, and received instruction.
33 Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:
34 So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man.
Think about that scripture that man left that vineyard to go under but what is the saying another’s man trash is another man’s treasure. Even though it looks deserted you can fix it up. Don’t disregard the first look because that could be a diamond in the rough.
In regards to your business is it lacking in any areas.
You need to take a good look at your business as a whole not just your products and services but your staff and your commercial business appearance.
You need to ask yourself the following questions:
According to Sir Isaac Newton, “An object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.”
Is your business progressing? If it is not you need momentum.
Once you locate the areas in your business that are lacking and need improvement then you need to focus on bringing momentum to those areas.
For example: you took over ownership of a women’s boutique that had been in business for 20 years and he previous owner decided to retire. The boutique is in a
great location and you have been in business for a year now. You had the grand opening to let people know that the boutique is under new management but only your family & friends came. Those customers who were loyal to the previous owner have cut off ties with you. Then you ran an ad and some customers came in to get the freebies but they didn’t buy anything. You wonder why you are not getting any customers. You also sell the goods online and the sales from the internet are good.
One day you notice there is a storage room full of last year’s summer clothes and you are in a new year with two months of winter left. The cosmetic look of the commercial building and the yard outside looks like the business has been shut down. The windows are tinted, paint is on the walls are cracked and there are weeds growing up around the building.
When there is lack in any area of your life you need to sow or give. According to Galatians 6:7 whatever you sow you reap but most people take that as if you sow
Something bad you will reap something bad but it is for good and bad. Basically I am talking about reciprocity given something to get something, exchange something to gain something. I am not talking about bartering I am talking sowing and giving.
In the women’s boutique example, you are lacking in sales so I would suggest you give clothes to reap sales.
Personally I would seek the Holy Ghost to see where he would want me to give those clothes to but if you don’t believe in God the principle of sowing and reaping still is effect. Sowing and reaping works for anybody believers or non-believers. It is the law of the universe. Therefore there is no excuse.
Remember you reap what you sow therefore in the women’s boutique example, I would suggest giving some of the new season of clothes so you can reap sales from the current products you are selling or future sales. Maybe you could sow a new dress, a new pair of pants, a new blouse, a new pair of shoes, a new costume jewelry box set to someone or you can split it up and give someone a dress and a pair of shoes, then you can give another person the pant set with the costume jewelry.
If you are giving the older clothes away you will reap increase in sales maybe from clothes you put on sales at a discount prices, getting rid of last season clothes. You know spring has come so you are trying to sell out all those winter clothes. You would like those discount sales but the buck of the wealth would come from those new spring stock of clothes.
Do you see what I am saying? You want to sow or give the best so you can reap the best. It’s like if you sow old high heels you will reap old high heels shoes multiplied so you want to sow the best to reap the best.
In regards to last summer’s clothes you found in the storage room in the women’s boutique example, you could sell them online and you can target market to the warm states and countries to get those clothes out of stock to free up that space. You can sell those clothes at a discount or not depending upon the demand in the area you are marketing to.
Let’s get back to giving to receive I have heard where a plant manager at a car manufacturing company understood reciprocity and gave the very first car that came off the assembly line to a pastor as a seed and that specific car line sales increased in the plant.
Well okay another way to create momentum in that business would be to fix the commercial building up by cutting the grass, a new paint job, change the windows so it can display the clothes; change the lights in the store to attract customers in. You have to make the boutique inviting.
Momentum is the forward progressions so you have to do things that are going forward and not stalling. You have to do things to keep the momentum.
Philippians 3:13 brothers and sisters, I do not consider that I have made it my own yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead.
