How Increasing Your Prices Increases You to Loyal Customers
Queens why haven’t your raised your prices?
Do you fear you will love revenue if you?
Do you fear your best customers would complain?
You can’t keep your prices the same because you are hurting your bottom line. Your company has expenses and you can’t keep lending money to our own company to cover.
Are your customers family and friends and you are scared to say something?
Sometimes it good to be forthright and tell your clients the new prices especially those you know are trying to use you to practically pay nothing for your products or service. Or they use the friend and family deal or even the connections deals you what they say yes I friends with so and so could you hook me up they said you did their taxes for such and such. As learning and training experience you say that was good they were there when you first started but you can’t go on with them you will never make money.
You can send a mass flier to your clients about price changes to prepare them for what’s coming up.
Then you could later introduce them to the new pricing giving them a list.
You can have a limited-time sale or promotion on items and services then let them know after this date the prices will be raised and give them the new free rates.
Be prepared to take a hit a decrease but be ready for an increase. You are getting rid of the chink in the chain the bad clients let them scatter. You may hear negative chatter but carry-on.
Raise your price it will establish you more of a professional and for some unknown reason clients come it’s almost like you build it and they would come but we know that is not true maybe it’s like a magnet to them they can see the quality the excellence in your products or service.
Evaluate your prices write them down and then write beside each one what is your true value, worth of them, you creative it what value do you see. If it is hard for you to determine check prices of your competitor. If you still feel unsure it could be just nerves and you need a leap of faith to push through. Take courage. You could plan do certain scenarios if you lose this group of people let’s say the family and friends how much would that effect your bottom line. Then you can plan according and maybe even save or have something on reserve. You have to get rid of that bad company so to speak they are draining you. So plan accordingly. Then you may even want to talk to your top paying clients and advise them you are thinking about raising your prices and see their reactions. You may also offer if you know people would leave pre-paid services before the prices are raised to keep you afloat when the changes occur.
But the first thing you should do is seek God for wisdom then plan accordingly.
